Fellow Ammo,

For everyone that has been tracking the recovery for SrA Powers; we have sad news to pass on. For those keeping up with the updates on Face Book you’re already aware of this info. From an earlier posting the parents were planning services in North Carolina, Langley AFB, and interment at Arlington. I will try to come up with a final tribute for him in my next newsletter.

Thanks for everyone’s support; know the Powers family was very proud of Bryce and express their thanks to the Ammo community for its support on numerous occasions.

Prayer and Support Group for Airman Bryce Powers

April 26 Update (EST) 6:45 PM

My sweet, brave, beautiful son “SrA Bryce Powers” left with Jesus today.

I was on his right, holding his right hand. Jim was on his left, holding his left hand. Madi was on the phone, telling him “goodbye”… He took his last breath — at 4:40 PM — with all three of us saying our “see ya later’s” and “I love you’s”.

Thank you ALL for standing by our sides for the last 6 1/2 months… we have felt your prayers, your love, and your care for each of us… especially our dear Bryce.

Bryce knew The Lord, believed He died for his sins, and accepted Him into his heart… Bryce is in a better place!!!
