2024 Reunion – Planned Events
17 Oct (Thursday)
o 1300 – 1600 registration/sign-in in the hotel hospitality room
o 1700 – 2200 reception mixer in the hotel banquet room (hors d’oeuvre’s and bar)
§ Dress casual
18 Oct (Friday)
o Tours of Eglin’s Munitions Material Handling Equipment (MMHE) focal point and the USAF’s first F-35 Joint Training Center and F-35 munitions loading demonstration.
o We have requested a bus through Eglin’s protocol office, if approved we’ll all get on the bus at the USAF Air Armament Museum and be driven to the tour locations on base.
§ If the bus is not approved, we will have to caravan in POV’s
§ Dress casual; we will be walking and standing during the tour
o 0800 Meet at the USAF Air Armament Museum
§ Address: 100 Museum Drive Eglin Air Force Base, Florida
o 0830 tour the MMHE Focal Point
o 1000 tour the F-35 training facility
o 1100 tour the F-35 loading demonstration
o 1230 return to USAF Air Armament Museum for a group picture at the new AMMO Heritage Monument
o 1300 end guided events for the day, free time
o 1800-2200 AMMO Call
§ Dress casual
§ Fubar Pizza Bar, 114 Amberjack Dr, Fort Walton Beach, FL
· Adult beverages, pizzas provided
· Fubar is approximately 1 mile (walking distance) from the hotel
o I will provide shuttle service for those who need a ride
19 Oct (Saturday)
o Golf
§ I will reserve tee times if there’s interest
o 1600 ACA Business meeting
§ Meeting will be in the hotel
o 1800-2200 Banquet Dinner
§ Dress business casual
§ Open bar
§ Buffet (Baked Mahi Mahi w/lemon Cream Sauce, Sliced Roast Beef Au Jus, Chicken Marsala plus sides & desert)
§ Our very own Gene Cox will DJ the event
20 Oct (Sunday)
