Trucking Industry Seeking to Hire Veterans

During this year’s National Defense Transportation Association Annual Forum, members of the commercial trucking industry requested my assistance in spreading the word that the industry is short approximately 30,000 drivers and they are seeking veterans in good standing.

I am seeking your assistance to help connect members who have proudly served in your organizations with our commercial partners who proudly serve the nation every day. The attached memorandum has some specifics on what the states are doing to aid members making the transition from military to civilian commercial careers. Please feel free to pass this along to your transition centers and other forums in your communities to reach our experienced veterans transitioning to civilian life.

A member of the AMMO Family needs some help!

AMMO Family,

I am sending this as a request to help one of our own AMMO Family.
Many of you may know TSgt Randy Wilhide and his wife Haleigh Wilhide, and daughters Conleigh and newborn baby Piper Wilhide. He is AMMO and he is a hard working person that has always given to his family, friends, and community.

The details are many but the jest of it all is little Piper Wilhide is now 5 weeks old and has been diagnosed with cancer. A tumor was found last week on her spine, (Neuroblastoma-Malignant Tumor), it has been determined that the cancer is contained to just the tumor right now and she is facing a minimum 4 weeks of Chemotherapy to try and reduce the size of the tumor and then remove it.

Right now, he needs the support of our AMMO Family. We are not looking to raise a million dollars, but they do have a tough road ahead of them. The military medical covers most of those expenses, however we all know the expenses of staying close to a hospital and the stress of managing everyday life and as well as care for a very sick child.

To find out more information, on how to help, please take the time to click on the link below.

Please consider it, pass it on, and try to spread the word as any way you can by forwarding this email, posting on Facebook or post it on your Twitter.

To all those who may be interested, we are depending on your efforts to keep this going.

Together we, the AMMO Family through some small individual efforts can make a significant difference to TSgt Randy Wilhide and his family as they go through this extremely tough ordeal.
Thank you for all you do!!
